The Nightmare are on a 2 game win streak after starting (0-3) beating the Alice Devils 64-0 & the Kingsville Vikings 20-0 this past weekend. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two since the Season Opener in February. The first game had the Sharks winning 26-6.

This weekends game will have both teams coming in with an undefeated (4-0) record. The Outlaws (#2 in division) have made a major turn around since last season with administration & a complete team overhaul, previously know as the Brownsville Hurricanes. This will be the Game of the Week for the Southern Conference and is for full control of the 1st place seeding in the Southern Division, currently held by the Sharks.

The Sharks will face the Texas Vikings based out of Kingsville, Tx. this Saturday. The Vikings are looking for their first win of the season, last weeks game was cancelled due to weather problems.

With the heavy drizzle & cold air flowing the Sharks faced the Bulldogs Saturday afternoon. The Defense came up with 1 fumbled recovery & 5 interceptions, 3 of them coming from FS #10 Raymond Fuentes, 1 from LB Sergio Rojas & 1 from CB #17 Randy Johnson who caught it on the run over his head. The offense showcased multiple receptions by WR #7 Marco Guzman including a leaping reception between 2 defenders, QB #3 Renato Nunez connected on a 50 yrd. pass across the field with the awaiting WR, rookie QB #6 Joey Perez scrambled for a TD & rookie RB # 15 Jesse Galvan also reached the endzone for his 1st TD of the season.
